Having started his career as a safety adviser with SSC Ltd where he worked his way up to Senior Safety Manager, Brian has also worked in safety management for DJ Construction (Group Safety Manager), Balfour Beatty (Capital Projects Safety Manager) and BCJV (Project Safety Manager).
He has also worked with AMEC, Tarmac, Laing Construction, CEGB and Delta Engineering). With over 20 years’ experience working with health, safety and environment issues in the construction industry, Brian founded Logic in 2001.
His expertise has led to many significant achievements with the industry including winning the Building Industry’s Integrated Project Safety Award on behalf of the Department for Work and Pensions in 2004 and 2005.
Managing Director & Consultant
Karen is Logic SHE Solution’s longest serving member of staff. At Logic since 2004 where she took on the role of administration assistant, supporting Anne in her role as Operations Director.
In 2016 Karen was promoted to General Manager and she is responsible for overseeing all company procedures, accounts, quotations, course applications and certification.
Karen’s vast knowledge of the industry and its requirements make her a valuable point of contact for new and existing clients.
Stan has worked as a Quality and Safety Consultant for 40 years, initially with Merz and Mclellan providing services predominately in the Energy and Engineering sectors, and latterly with Turner & Townsend primarily in the construction sector.
Stan has been closely involved in a number of high profile and award winning projects. Clients have included DWP Jobcentre, National Renewable Energy Centre, Nissan Manufacturing UK, Heathrow Airport, Dublin Airport, Tram Operations Croydon, Shell Exploration, Port of Tyne, Canadian Nuclear Authority (MCRR), Vantec, Newcastle University and many others.
Stan provides technical support to Logic for the delivery of quality and safety services including management systems and due diligence oversight of deliverables.
Matt has been part of the Logic team since 2008, progressing from his starting role as a technical administrator, to his current role. Matt comes from a multi-disciplined background, and is a strong and dedicated member of the Logic team. Matt is responsible for undertaking the majority of Logic Consult’s asbestos surveys and manages our extensive database.
Further career development has seen Matt complete his NEBOSH General Certificate and do Level 3 EATs qualification making Matt a valuable member of the Logic training team. Matt has just commenced his NVQ Level 5 in Occupational Health and Safety.
Health and Safety Consultant
Amey has taken on various jobs at Logic SHE Solutions, including office maintenance and administration. She is now furthering her career and qualifications in the Health and Safety industry.
Amey has completed her RQF Level 6 diploma in Applied Health and Safety. The next step will be to go on and complete an MSC in Environmental Health to enhance her interest in environmental issues.
Amey now also has the arduous task of being the Logic Project Co-Ordinator.
H&S Technical Consultant & Project Co-Ordinator
Chris joined the Logic team in 2016, specialising in IT as well as the general maintenance of the business’ operations. Previously, Chris worked at a major distribution warehouse where he was inventory team leader. He has participated in many courses including CITB Health and Safety Awareness, CITB Site Management Safety Training Scheme, IOSH Training IATP Asbestos Awareness, Highfield Fire and First Aid Training.
Chris has completed the Level 3 Award in Education Training, enabling him to teach various courses and is a valid member of the Logic training team. Chris has now passed his Level 6 Certificate in Applied Health & Safety and provides invaluable technical H&S support.
Operations and IT Co-ordinator
Sam joined Logic SHE Solutions in November 2013, leaving a procurement role for a multinational company. With a Business degree specialising in marketing, she is responsible for Logic SHE Solutions’ development of marketing opportunities.
Sam’s daily duties involve following up on existing enquiries and maintaining an excellent level of client contact, with both existing and prospective customers.
Natalie joined Logic in March 2019 as a Trainee Technical Assistant. Since joining she is now responsible for maintaining our client database, preparing COSHH assessments, preparing the monthly newsletter and keeping the company engaged with social media. This role also provides support to the Project Co-ordinator and the H&S Consultancy team.
Natalie has a background in counselling and will be completing an NCRQ Level 6 in Applied Health & Safety.
