Description of Works:
The Kirklees College project, “The Vision” is intended to provide up to date modern facilities in the Centre of Huddersfield. The project takes place as part of a wider development of the “Waterfront Quarter” which is intended to revitalize a current industrial area of the town into an attractive and vibrant business centre.
The Vision project will provide an extensive, modern campus facility providing some 28,000 m2 of college accommodation. The design comprises three linked blocks of varying construction and up to nine storey’s, built into a difficult sloping site.
