Chris’s career to date seen key development in the production of high quality Health and Safety management systems for major service providers within the UK. His previous employer being a global business that employed thousands of individuals, Chris reported directly to board directors on the implementation of safety systems Since joining Logic Chris has been responsible for the development of various client management systems, which have included reviewing technical documents for specialist industry sectors.Chris also  provides technical and practical support to the Directors with knowledge to solve safety problems.

Rick Margetts

Consultant

Rick joined Logic in 2006 with an established background as a tradesman with substantial practical experience of the construction process and environment. 

Since joining Logic Rick has advised on most ongoing construction projects from small utilities to new build projects such as University College London Hospital and been involved in the redevelopment of Kings Cross and Camden Arches. He has also worked alongside utility businesses including Clancy Docwra as well as utility providers such as Drax Power.

Rick has completed NEBOSH National General Certificate, and an NVQ 4 in Occupational Health and Safety along with a wide range of professional and technical development programmes including both P402 Asbestos Surveying and P405 Asbestos Management certificates.

Rick has excellent IT Skills, (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Publisher & Web Application), and has been able to apply these skills in assisting Logic in the review and development of their intranet and internet service.

Peter Mayer

Senior Consultant

Peter joined Logic after involvement with DWP as a EHS Coordinator covering the West Midlands and the North West of England, with over 120 projects as a EHS Coordinator the new role of CDM-Coordinator will be an interesting development.Peter is one of the most experienced Safety Consultants currently employed within Logic with over 30 years experience as a safety manager.Prior to joining Logic, Peter had extensive periods within his career managing projects with Local Authorities with values up to 25 million.

Steve Barlow

Consultant 

Early in his career, Steve worked extensively in the construction sector in various safety management roles including 5 years working in Jersey for a Scaffolding Company. Among many other attributes, Steve has a track record of resolving Work At Height issues. Steve then embarked on a successful 10 year career in the education sector where, after gaining at BA (education) degree at the University of London worked as a Director of Learning in East London, launching initiatives and introducing new training courses to schools  in response to the Thames Gateway and Olympics projects which aimed to address the skills shortage in the local population. He was also involved in the management and implementation of BSF projects at Local Authority level in East London. Steve is currently working on projects run by Balfour Beatty at Heathrow Terminal 2, King’s Cross and Westfield at the Olympic site at Stratford among others and has also tailored Logic training packages to suit our client’s specific individual training needs.
