Consultancy

Logic aims for continual improvement. Working in partnership with your company, we establish the most appropriate solutions to ensure that you receive the highest level of service possible. We can assist you to integrate good health and safety practice into your business through proactive risk control backed by health and safety performance monitoring.

All our consultants are fully-qualified specialists with extensive experience at all levels. We recognise that organisations have individual SHE needs and our services are tailored to suit specific requirements. Backed by our experienced administration team, our consultants can provide the support to enable clients to implement effective SHE management systems, to monitor and benchmark their SHE performance and to ensure that all staff have received SHE training.

Partnering

As an extension of our consultancy service, Logic offers clients the option of entering into a partnering arrangement. We provide your business with a dedicated consultant, as well as immediate access to our admin team and other specialist consultants. As well as regular meetings to monitor and assess SHE performance progress, our newsletters will keep your business up-to-date with any legislative changes and developments in SHE issues. This arrangement can be adapted to suit both large and small businesses, ensuring that your business receives access to professional advice and the most appropriate level of service at an agreed fixed cost.

Secondment of Health and Safety Professionals

Logic consultants can also provide cover on a full or part-time basis. This service can be particularly useful to a business in times of staff illness, retirement, maternity leave or during times of heavy workload. Our fully-qualified health and safety professionals can provide the necessary assistance either on-site or in the office.

Surveys

New guidance on asbestos surveying (HSG 264) requires that surveys carried out now fall into two categories

  • Management Surveys
  • Refurbishment Surveys

This is opposed to the previous

  • Type 1
  • Type 2
  • Type 3

All Logic's documentation is up to date with current new guidance and regulation.
All of our asbestos surveyors are qualified to carry out all types of asbestos surveys and have accumulated thousands of hours of experience in asbestos surveying.
Logic operations comply with the European Standard ISO 17020:2004 and all our asbestos surveyors have BOHS P402 and P405 qualifications. All our work strictly follows the methodology presented in HSG 264.

Management

The purpose of asbestos management is to prevent the exposure to airborne asbestos now and for the duration of the time asbestos containing materials (ACMs) are present on your premises.

To do this you must identify the person within your organisation that will be responsible for that management. The designated dutyholder must put in place a written asbestos management plan which will include an asbestos register. This register should include the location and conditions of the ACMs.
Logic can provide a tailor made management plan for your premises or organisation this can also include a fully controlled online E-Management system with various levels of access for security purposes.
We also offer a full sample inspection regime whereby we track the asbestos in our clients properties and monitor the condition of these materials and provide regular reports.
All of Logic’s asbestos management consultants hold the BOHS P405 qualification.

Encapsulation

Although not a pivotal part of the work Logic undertakes we do understand that many organisations wish to delegate as much work as possible when it comes to dealing with asbestos products. For this purpose we offer a maintenance service that can include tasks such as

  • Removing all non licensed asbestos products
  • Environmental cleaning of non licensed asbestos products.
  • Touching up asbestos encapsulations that deteriorate over time such as painting, boarding etc...
